How can I contact you if I have questions about your classes?

You can call us anytime at 904-247-4CPR, or shoot us an email at contact@advancedcardiactraining.com. Many questions can be answered here on our website.

Are your classes official American Heart Association® courses?

Yes, Advanced Cardiac Training provides American Heart Association® training in CPR, First Aid and Emergency Cardiac Care. We have classes for all levels — from doctors, nurses and other heathcare professionals to workplace professionals and families.

Can you hold a class at my place of business?

Yes. Our experienced staff will bring any of our classes (equipment and all) to your facility. Skill checks for online courses can also be performed at your facility. Please call or email us at contact@advancedcardiactraining.com for more information.

What type of CPR training is right for me?

BLS for Healthcare Providers is the class required for most doctors, physician assistants, nurses, nursing assistants, medical assistants, dentists, dental hygienists, fire fighters, emergency medical technicians and respiratory therapists (as well as students in medical-related professions). Heartsaver® classes are designed for people who need CPR training outside the health care setting. These include teachers, trainers, plumbers, electricians and child care professionals. Family and Friends classes are for moms, dads, foster parents, people getting ready to adopt, babysitters, nannies, boy scouts, girl scouts and others.

Who teaches your CPR, ACLS and PALS classes?

All of our instructors are American Heart Association® qualified with years of emergency medical experience. Most of our instructors are also firefighters and paramedics who perform CPR and take care of emergency cardiac patients on a regular basis.

Will I get hands-on experience during the class?

Yes. Every student will have the opportunity to practice CPR on a realistic manikin in a stress-free environment. We will help you perform CPR and treat cardiac patients the right way and make sure you leave feeling comfortable that you can perform in an emergency. We are not drill instructors.

Do I need a book?

The American Heart Association requires that students have access to a student manual before, during, and after class. If you do not have access to a book through your employer, school, or otherwise, we have provided the links below to purchase a copy in paperback or ebook form. Advanced Cardiac Training provides books for use during all of our classes. Students who have purchased a live/in-person Heartsaver CPR/AED or CPR/AED/FA class will be provided a book. This book is included in the cost of the class and does not require further purchase.

Please visit https://shopcpr.heart.org for purchase. Simply use the Courses drop-down menu to find the student workbook you are looking for.

What if I need to reschedule my class?
